Our goal is to provide professional ergonomic services and education that help individuals and organizations reduce workplace injury risk and improve employee well-being. We offer comprehensive ergonomic workplace risk factor assessments and intervention by looking at the physical demands of the job to decrease the risk of injury/illness, increase safety, enhance worker productivity and improve quality of work life for all.
We include ergonomic training on correct posture and safe lifting techniques along with exercises classes. Reseach has shown that employee training, stretching programs, and ergonomic education can help reduce the prevalence and severity of musculoskeletal discomfort and injuries.
We may be able to offer discounts on select ergonomic products when equipment is recommended as part of an evaluation.

Remote | Virtual | Online Assessments
We offer remote ergonomic evaluations which require time and active participation from both parties. This process requires the individual to fill out an assessment form, a pain measurement form and also provide us with a videotape or photograph of the employee within the work environment. Depending on the specific issues we may need to request additional information. A detailed report will contain recommended workstation changes or suggested items to be purchased. Additionally, there will be a follow-up with the employee after the workstation changes have been implemented.
Individual Ergonomic Assessments
Whether you are looking to do a preventative evaluation or a medical evaluation. If you have an office workstation at home (telework), at a business or if you have an entire department that needs to be assessed, we've got you covered.
This ergonomic evaluation includes a fully documented report that includes photos of the individual employee's workstation, postural assessments, and includes recommendations or solutions for you to make your work environment more productive. Ultimately our goal is for you to be safe, productive, and without pain.
Industrial/Manufacturing/Heavy Equipment Assessments
This involves the use of mechanical equipment, hand or power tools. We look at the design, the task and the employee to ensure they are working in the most efficient and safest way possible. We work with and educate employees to be smart and watch for ways to improve their work environment and posture.
It has been proven through numerous studies for example: Zare, Croq, Hossein-Arabi, et al. (2015, April) Ergonomics Improve Product Quality and Reduce Costs? A Review Article in Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing, that "a well planned ergonomic work environment and the proper ergonomic equipment reduces work related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) and improves worker productivity."
Ergologics will come out and provide a needs assessment where we take an in-depth look at the risk and assess the physcial demands of the job. We can do this on site or we can do this remotely. We can plan, identify practical solutions to reduce the risk, improve productivity and cost.
Job Analysis
When conducting a job analysis we look at the physical demands of the job and individual tasks of the job being performed. A job analysis is the study of a job and all of its components. This type of service is used to assess an entire job rather than an individual worker. This can be best described in terms of assessing the tools, equipment, materials, workstation layout, physical environment, job demands, or organizational climate. If a company is experiencing an increase in injuries caused by a particular job, then this service may be beneficial.
Disability Accommodations
We offer workplace assessments design to support ADA accommodation efforts for recommended workplace designs to accommodate people with disabilities: this includes people with visual or auditory losses, physical disabilities or people with limited reach capabilities.
Group Evaluations
This is for unique work environments such as: a front desk area that needs to be restructured or evaluated, a shared work environment (a call center), a new build out, or reconfiguration of an existing work area.
Similar to our individual ergonomic evaluation, we include a fully documented report with photos of the worker's posture and include recommendations (ie: the correct tools you need for a specific job) or solutions for your work environment.
In-House Ergonomics Program
Having a In-House Ergonomic Program is beneficial as it it saves you money ($$$), cheaper than constantly hiring an outside consultant, no single evaluation evaluation can replicate, problems are fixed quickly and effectively and provides training on site. Ergologics can offer a proactive approach, where we can spot, identify and resolve ergonomic issues throughout a company; therefore, implementing changes long before an injury occurs. If the risk is eliminated, the injury has no place to develop. Have an employee who filed a workers' comp claim? We handle those too.

Workplace: Relocation | Design | Redesign
Are you working on revising an old project or want to start a new project? Do you want to be sure you meet the proper ergonomic guidelines? This is where we can help. An ergonomics approach to design shall be human centered. This means that all designable components of a system are fitted to the characteristics of the intended users, operators, or workers, rather than selecting and/or adapting humans to fit the system, product or service. Ergonomic assistance is recommended with new office build-outs, onsite installations, and office space planning.
Webinars, Training, and Classes
An important part of our process is to include an ergonomics training class. This is beneficial and critical for all workers who are exposed to conditions that contribute to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). We consult with the employees because they know their jobs better than anyone else does. It is important for the management team, workers and the ergonomics team to work together to successfully and correctly identify the risk factors for work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD’s), recognize the signs and symptoms of WMSDs, and to develop strategies that minimize and prevent WMSDs. We offer in-person training sessions, classes or a webinar. We are flexible and will accommodate your needs.
Ergonomics Training Program:
Ergologics offers large-group training sessions as well as trainings provided during staff meetings to encourage and train employees on the importance of basic ergonomics and proper posture. We address common ergonomic issues, discuss complications that arise from improper posture and poor work habits. We educate on proper body mechanics and help employees become aware of how to self correct when not comfortable. We complete the class with teaching basic reminders of exercises/stretches to help employees increase overall ergonomic awareness so they can stay strong/flexible when working.
Specialized Training Classes:
We specialize in creating classes for specific job functions. We can tailor a class to meet your needs. We can do a site visit, assess your the work environment and teach a class based on the observations of the findings we examined when doing the ergonomic assessment. We can develop and present a customized training program for your employees and return yearly to implement the class if desired. For example: A “court reporters’ class” would be designed to their stenograph machine, how they perform their job and their specific requirements. Hence, we can offer a class that is specific for YOU.
